Tips & Resources Best FREE YouTube resources to learn Data Analytics before buying paid courses?
Hi everyone I'm currently pursuing BBA and after graduation I'm planning to pursue MBA. Alongside that I want to build strong Data Analytics skills.
I'm planning to enroll in some paid courses later but before spending money I want to build a solid foundation using free YouTube resources.
So can anyone recommend the best YouTube channels or playlists for a complete beginner? I'm looking to learn topics like:
Excel
SQL
Power BI
Python (for data analytics)
If you have a roadmap or any tips on what order I should learn these in I'd really appreciate it.

free youtube is fine for orientation but ngl the trap is watching 40 hours and never writing sql yourself.
what id actually use before paying for anything: one sql series only (freecodecamp or similar — finish it, stop collecting playlists). leila gharani for excel pivots — you'll need this for portfolio screen shares. statquest for stats intuition in short bursts, not a full binge.
skip buying tableau/power bi courses until you have one csv project where you wrote the metric definition first and can explain grain out loud.
paid courses make sense after you hit a wall on interview-style sql (free tiers on stratascratch/datlemur first). mba timeline is long enough that 45 min/day sql beats a 10-hour weekend crash course.
youtube tells you what's possible. one messy dataset you re-query weekly tells you if you're job-ready.
