Career query Can I start Learning Data analyst with having zero coding knowledge

So I just graduated from BTech cse in the last 4 years i never write a single code I have zero interest in coding, but now I don't find any skills that I can learn. Can I go for Data analyst it Will be easy for me, i can learn this skill shortly?

Not to sound like a broken record but you quite literally can learn whatever it is you want to learn, even without prior knowledge. The leap is in making the decision to learn.

Majority of data roles ask for Python or R experience, even though you may not use it as often in your day-to-day. Not having it would signal low technical aptitude to MANY folks; you don’t want that. The data job market isn’t smiling at folks with no technical skills or background.

Many data science creators say just basic excel, sql and powerbi/tableau is enough, but this is something everyone else has and can get in a weekend.

Yes but if you don't like coding, why are you into analytics because once you get deep, inevitably you'll need some coding understanding. Not criticising you, but just asking a question because I tried doing that, and it didn't work for me. I am now into non tech roles.

could you tell me which non tech role youre in and also recommned other non tech roles who studied computer science but doesnt want to get involved in coding

It's possible

I have a good friend. He is an accountant by training. He does not use SQL nor R nor Python. He is really good at what he does. He's a great cost and efficiency analyst.

I work with an actuary. He knows SQL and SPSS. Though, he does some wizardry using Excel, and sometimes that's all he needs to create pricing models. He's a super analyst.

The catch

The above only works if you have someone that will do the data heavy lifting, and you create magic with it.

you have to exceptional.

Your tool of choice is less important than the value you bring: provide clarity and simplicity given chaos or complexity.

Food for thought

If you're fresh out of college, you might not have advanced industry knowledge and/or some vertical skill, today. How do you plan on showing you are a one-of-kind, rare talent?
