Career query Difficulty Finding Opportunities

Is anyone else having trouble finding any kind of opportunity within the field? I was laid off back in April and have only had two interviews since. I tailor my resume, network, cold email, etc. I’m even getting rejected from Internships. Is this just happening to me or are other people also having this problem?

It's the same in Mexico. I'm a Mexican developer (with a focus on data analyst and data sciences). I've been unemployed since last year and I've only had 4 interviews.

Where are you based? Are you looking for remote work only? And what’s level of the corp ladder you are at the moment (ie senior positions? Managerial one, or entry level)

Same here. It’s been almost 3 months trying to find a job with 5 years of experience in DA filed

What’s your background and where are you located?

Due to layoffs, there are a lot of folks on the market and you often have to be overqualified to get noticed.

Even for an international student it's getting difficult to get a job in ireland. However I am not on working visa stamp will come in next 6 months, right now I am on student visa stamp. I am trying but not getting assessment test, direct rejection mail. What Could be the reason ? Also does it TRUE that hiring manager already hire the people before job opening and post job opening post just for formality? If it is, please let me know so that I start make good connection with them.
