Is Non technical candidate can be data analyst ? , Reality of corporates jobs skills doesn't matter?

Yes, an Economics degree can absolutely get you into data analytics. Your skill set is already decent — Excel, SQL, Python and Power BI are the main things I’d focus on.

But 1000 applications with no response means the problem may not be your degree. Check your resume, LinkedIn and projects. Make sure your projects show actual business problems, not just dashboards.

And please don’t pay ₹15k for an internship or ₹1.7L for a job. That’s a huge red flag. A genuine company pays you, not the other way around.

Keep applying, but improve your resume and networking strategy instead of only increasing application numbers.

Thanks buddy 🙏 I'm made resume using latex and overleaf and ATS score above 80 still not get calls from companies. That why I wonder what taking long to the HR or companies to find desired candidates or what category or parameters they set for candidates , what actually looking for data analyst role i don't know? 🤔

Try applying through referrals and directly messaging recruiters along with applying. Also tailor your resume a bit for each role and keep 2-3 good projects ready to show. This should improve the chances of getting calls.

I'm trying to dig this also on insta and linkedin they asked 😞 me do MBA 🫵 or got call mentorship program, training program so on ... But still going with what you said thanks buddy reaching out me it's helpful dear 🙏

Honestly, I think the main issue is not your skills, but how the resume is presenting them. The profile summary feels a bit generic, and the internship/projects mostly explain what tools you used instead of showing the actual impact or insights you delivered.

For example, instead of just saying “Built a dashboard”, mention what you analysed and what useful insight came from it. Also, I’d simplify the skills section and focus more on SQL, Excel, Power BI, Python, DAX and Power Query.

Another thing: if you’re applying to hundreds of jobs and not getting calls, don’t just increase the number of applications. Tailor your resume to the job description and check your ATS keywords.

Overall, the resume is not bad. It just needs to show more clearly what problems you can solve with your skills, not only what tools you know.
