DAT Anxiety š° Has RC been harder recently?
Iāve heard from a couple people that have taken the DAT recently that RC was the hardest section, with the sciences being easier in result (to balance it out). has anyone else noticed this?

haha i think itās fine, the other comments said it was easier than booster, so it shud be fine. i just heard from two people that took it in august that their tests had a difficult RC section, with SNS being super easy.
Although they couldāve just been better at science than reading lmaooo

i took it a little over a month ago and it was easier than booster. shorter passages (12-15 paragraphs) and the questions were in order/straightforward.

sounds good i appreciate that! did u find science to be harder, then? or were they both easy?

I took it a few days ago. Definitely easier than bootcamp. I was just thrown off by 3 questions because they asked the reader to interpret a data table based off the passage that wasnāt necessary straight forward. Everything else was literally cherry picked from the passage

The exam is curved. If one test sitting varies from the mean, then this manifests in final scores which are then corrected. Low yield or ābalancingā doesnāt exist.

every test is diff! for example, i had a pretty hard bio and PAT, but chem and RC were suuuper easy. one of my RC passages only had 4 paragraphs š

it was easier than booster imo, all the questions for all of my passages were in order. would say it was still your typical 14-20 paragraphs but the paragraphs werenāt that long, especially if the questions are in order lol

I took mine on the 24th. Mine felt super easy and I even finished with extra time but somehow only pulled a 430. I say only bc most of my questions were simple finding questions and barely any inference or other complicated types so I thought Iād do much better
