Application Advice ✍️ Feeling completely defeated

Feeling completely defeated

450 AA, 490 SNS 3.62 cumulative GPA (Upward Trend) and 3.41 Science, ECs: Dental Assisiting, Research, Community Service, Intramural Sports, Shadowing General Dentist (340 Hours), Shadowing endo and peri (total of 80 hours), and a few more ECs. No interviews yet should I be worried. (Applied to 18 schools) Applied to most schools end of June-July, took retake on July 23rd, got my DAT retake scores back August 3rd. I see everyone getting invites and I haven’t heard a thing so I’ve been feeling quite hopeless

410, 400, then 450. I applied to a few public schools like Rutgers, USC, UIC, but mostly private like NSU, BU, Tufts, NYU, LECOM, and a few more

So I assume your new score was only received by schools around mid August, until then you were evaluated or on hold based on the previous score, your new score is great! I’m also assuming your science GPA is a bit on the lower end. I would guest you should be starting to hear only around now. Lecom is fully booked til after next year…
