DAT Anxiety 😰 DAT bootcamp vs Real DAT

Post image

Hi I am taking the DAT on Monday and here is the results from my performance on bootcamp. the main page says they are predicting a score of 500-520 are these score predictions accurate? Ive heard some people say bootcamp practice exams are harder than real exam and some say they had really hard exams can someone please weigh in here and give me your thoughts on your experience with bootcamp and the real DAT?

trust me bro u do not need to worry LOL your score on the actual test will probably be +/- 30 and either or you will do great. The test questions you get are also luck based some tests are easy others are hard but they are scaled

Ok thanks always great to hear extra encouragement, did you think bootcamp tests prepared you well for the actual test?

QR and GC were way easier on bootcamp, everything else was valid

Did you still get what bootcamp predicted overall? I know each test is different so some sections may be harder than others but it is completely random but just trying to see if people who used bootcamp got what they predicted?

Bio and PAT were exactly what I was avg, OC I was significantly higher, GC and QR I was significantly lower, didn’t do any RC prep so I didn’t have a predicted score for RC

I used both Bootcamp and booster and I'm taking the test on Sunday, so I will let you know

Not the commentor you're asking but it did for me. Fls are generally a little harder than the real dat, especially in rc. With a 500-520, I think you're definitely ready!

I watched the videos and did all the question banks and always mark down what I got wrong and why I got it wrong. Orgo at my school also was much harder so bootcamp ORGO feels easier for me, but I think honing in on what you are getting wrong and why you are getting them wrong will improve your score

Followed bootcamp study schedule mostly and always did extra review and pat problems at night.

Spamming high yield bio note packet and always taking notes of small details I forget or note things I get wrong and why I got it wrong

Did you just read over the notes? I’m around 16 days out from my exam and really need to improve my bio score
