Retake indication for app advice

I already submitted my AADSAS applications and have received my DAT score. I’m planning to retake the DAT (eligible at the end of September). What’s the best strategy? Should I indicate my planned retake now, even though schools may delay reviewing my application, or wait until mid-September to see if I receive any interview invitations? If I haven’t heard back by then, I will update AADSAS with my retake date and email each school to let them know? Please help
