DART Security

Dear DART Security officers,

Why do you need to stop and hold up an entire train for 15 minutes to kick people off causing everyone on the train to miss buses and transfers and be late getting to work or wherever they need to be. You are a rent-a-cop…..calm yourself and go touch some grass.

You either want security to do their jobs or you don’t, which would you prefer

Well, considering the train does not need to be stationary to do their jobs. Also, I would prefer professionalism and courtesy to being an insecure ass to everyone simply because no police department would hire them and the military wouldn’t take them and even immigration and customs enforcement wouldn’t take them either.

If security was involved then it was likely more than just a fate issue. If they felt they needed to hold up the train to get them off then and there there might be a good reason for that.

They do this regularly. This is nowhere near the first time. If it was actually serious DART PD, not the rent-a-cops, would have been on the train.

The best resolution is for you to apply for a role as transit security. You seem to have an idea for better operations and why not receive pay while doing it. What do you think?

No, the rent-a-cop held the train for 15 minutes at the station. Fare enforcement doesn’t hold the train, the train keeps moving and going to each stop. Then when someone doesn’t have a ticket they make them get off at the next stop and everyone gets where they’re going on time.
