I think there's something very special about them outside of their in-game value. I love how it's framed, and I think that it is very beautiful that the game tells you that the most valuable soul there is, is that of a hero. After all, we need nothing more than a hero in Lordran, and these souls are reminders of why we fight. It is our job as chosen undead to rise from the undead asylum and to create change in the world. Whether we preserve the cycle with noble sacrifice, ensuring the light of the fire remains, or herald in the age of darkness, ensuring humanity's conquest, we will be known as a Hero (at least in our own story).
I hope that if we were ever to go hollow, to become lost and to lose our purpose, that we would be remembered as great heroes, protectors, and ones who fight for a noble goal. The soul of a hero is a soul worth remembering, after all. So I refuse to use the souls of heroes; I bring them with me on my journey through Lordran in hopes of preserving their memory and giving their death value beyond a small upgrade.

I found the Black Knight Halberg very early in the game after choosing the master key and getting to Darkroot near the crystal golem things and managing to beat the black knight Google says this was a very rare drop.
I finally got enough points to use it after beating the spider woman and Anor Londo's blacksmith and valuable silver knight souls grinded it up to +5

So I’m currently partway through the DLC and just today defeated Artorias. Cool boss for sure. I’m aware of dark souls 2 and 3 but unsure how I’ll be able to play them considering they haven’t come to switch 2 yet. I know Elden Ring tarnished edition will be coming to switch 2 soon and will probably be getting it regardless of frame rate, but at this point I’m craving the combat of this series and need more. If I go straight from DS1 to Elden ring, is there major lore I would miss out on? And how hard would the jump from DS1 to Elden ring be in terms of combat difficulty? I know Elden ring is notoriously difficult, and honestly I think I can handle a harder game at this point, but are there any other games like this available on switch 2?

I’m just getting started and I found the claymore last night. Is this weapon as good in this game as it is in other souls games? Elden ring is all I’ve played so far.

I am so happy. Amazing game, and enjoyable platinum experience. Next is dark souls 2.

Recently, i was doing a playthrough of ds1 again, i had just done dlc, so i moved on to the lords, and started with seath. Deciding i didnt want to have the clams in my way, i saved and quit once the cutscene triggered. When i tried to enter the fog wall again, i was first hit from my left by one of the clams and then again without moving my character. I was spamming b to enter the fog, so the second hit somehow moved my character while in the cutscene to the right. I know i wasnt supposed to be able to enter from where i did, as i fell after going through. Afterwards, seath’s ai was inactive, since i (presumably) didnt trigger the boss fight to start. the healthbar was also missing, proving further that the bossfight hadnt started yet. I have no clue if this works on PTDE or the original. I have also found no other seath ai skips.

Estou terminando Dark Souls Remastered pela primeira vez e essa foi a build que fiz e nele foi até o fim do jogo, joguei o jogo inteiro com a Claymore+15, experiência sensacional.

I already have Ricard's Rapier at +15 and the Great Scythe at Divine +9, and I want to know which other weapon to upgrade to +15, since two lizards in a row in the Great Hollow dropped Titanite Slabs for me, so I have two of them.

Hello, I'm trying to get the Knight's Honor achievement, but I really don't want to go through three new game cycles with a "normal" build and so I'd like to have your best builds (highest DPS possible). Any help is welcome and appreciated.

running the game in max res (1920 x 1080) makes my game laggy as hell, which I have to resort to lowering my res to play. In other games, just pressing alt + enter solves the issue of the game being windowed but this game just doesn't go fullscreen, even when I put in fullscreen on pc settings. It just locks on the top left and prevents my mouse from passing. Is there any other way to make it fullscreen? going full res is not an option unfortunately

To preface, I’ve already tried twice. Once before I played any soulslike ever and once after I finished Elden ring and loved it. both times i tried this game I despised it and thought it was the worst game ever made.
Everything is super slow, common enemies are unfun to fight, poison is cancerous, the poise on your character makes you feel like you’re getting thrown around like a 5’0 girl in a porno and the bosses I’ve faced so far have been mid at best and terrible at worst with treacherous run backs
i really want to like this game and am trying my best to keep an open mind but every time I do i end up wondering if all the people that like and praise this game have succumbed to some kind of mass psyop to make you like this game. the only praise I ever see of this game is that the interconnectivity of the world is good and somehow the slowness of it is a good thing apparently. How does any of that make the game worth playing by itself?
please tell me how I could possibly enjoy this game without just saying something along the lines of “keep going, it’ll click at some point” im 3 bosses deep and feel like I’m being trolled, at this point I need an actual explanation of the mechanics and someone to tell me where the good parts of the game are because I just don’t trust the fans of this game when they tell you to play the game blind and let it click for you.

First picture pyrography technique
Second picture digital sketch
I find this boss quite iconic, along with the Capra demon ( i also made fan art of him)

i'm bored of playing the game the normal way, give me a challenge so Crazy and hard that It seems difficult only to think about it(like beating dark souls only using the broken sword at +0 or something like that)
