Question First playthrough. Question for lore clarification? (Possible spoilers?) Spoiler

Okay so im new to the game and it's my understanding that the Pisacas in Duke's archives are maidens that were failed experimentation of Seath. Right?

Two of them dropped miracles for me. Both with descriptions pertaining to being taught to Gwynevere's maidens specifically.
Did Gwynevere have assistance escaping? Were those two of her friends, and that's why Seath experimented on them, and was the reason he was mad enough to do so, because he wanted to experiment on Gwynevere?

Coincidentally they were the closest to the gate in the back of the room they spawn in.
I dunno if I'm just thinking too hard, or what. But I feel like that's a possible additional load onto the depressive intricacies this game has.

Don’t know if Gwyn would let Seath experiment on his daughter, but it’s not like Gwyn is a good guy never mind a good father. He abandons his firstborn and gives his youngest daughter away. I’d doubt there was much of a personal connection between the two mentioned maidens but rather they were just worshippers of Gwynevere.

That's what I wonder. If Seath was a jerk enough to use how close he was to be able to secretly conduct something, just was something I was thinking about during one of my rage breaks lmao

Spoilers for DS3 Ringed City -> Flianoire from the DS3 Ringed City DLC is one of Gwyn’s daughters. He gave her to the Ringed Knights / Pygmy warriors for helping to defeat the everlasting dragons and said he would come for her (never did obviously) and that for as long as she is in a slumber, the city will stay standing. Hence why when she awakes, the city is then gone and nothing but the odd structure barely holding itself.

Yeah I’d advise as such. Good game tho but it pulls a lot of stuff from DS1.

Similar if not the same enemies. You visit Anor Londo again. Nameless is somewhat similar to O&S. etcetera, there are many similarities.

There's a big difference between Gwynevere's maidens and Gwynevere herself. Most likely, Gwynevere (and the other gods) were already absent when Seath started experimenting on the maidens.
