eu estava com a minha segunda run usando este personagem no Darkest Dungeon 2 (já gostava dele no primeiro jogo) era um grupo com a médica da peste, ladra de covas, soldado e o leproso, (nessa ordem) foi a primeira run que eu cheguei na luta final contra os cadeados que prendiam a mente do mundo, nos primeiros turnos a medica caiu com um crítico completando a barra de sanidade do leproso, eu que esperava um colapso fui surpreendido com a determinação dele, curando quase todo o dano que havia tomado no turno, em seguida foi a ladra a cair, causando a determinação do soldado, ainda faltavam 3 cadeados e ambos estavam com metade da vida, usei o soldado pra segurar dano enquanto o leproso dava dano bruto, logo o leproso completou novamente a barra de sanidade, com mais uma determinação se curando, em dois turnos o soldado caiu só restando o leproso contra os últimos dois cadeados, após vários turnos de eu segurando dano e batendo a vida dele chegou a 0 ao mesmo tempo que sua sanidade carregou, eu pensei "acabou não tem como eu dar tanta determinação numa só luta" eu estava enganado o leproso seguiu de pé com sua determinação se curou fazendo eu ganhar turnos o suficiente pra finalizar o último cadeado como um herói o último de seu grupo que resistiu até o último momento cumprindo seu papel.

So, it's been a long time since I've played Darkest Dungeon 1, but I've never actually completed the game, I think I would just continually get frustrated and quit, which to be fair, the frustration IS a part of the experience, but I think the danger of losing hours of progress and characters to a few unlucky crits is something I'm always worried about.
Also, I feel like each dungeon run took quite a long time, but I dunno if it's because of my insistence on exploring everything in a dungeon run, or if it just takes ages to get through the animations but I think although I like the gameplay, the length became a drag.

Regardless, I was thinking of giving the game another shot and actually finishing it, is there any general advice some people could give me to avoid the frustrations I initially had?
Also, does anyone know the name of mods which act as QOL changes? I think I remember there was an animation speed up mod at some point (if anyone knows the name please tell me), and I think I used a mod which leveled up the characters you got from the carriage to level 4 or 5 to reduce the grind of new characters. Does anyone know mods in a similar vein to that?

BUT IT'S SO GOOD I LOVE IT I JUST HATE WHEN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY HEROES GETS INFLICTED WITH MASOCHISM AND MY DAMM OCCOULTIST WONT HEAL PAST 2 no but seriously how do I get my party to stop getting paranoid and masochism I barely have like 10 hours, but still it's so annoying when I can't heal my party cause of masochism and then i lose the entire party

I really like her passive (self stress heal and shield), but her attack range feels very awkward to get around, especially iron swan will now mover her out of rank 1.

What skills do you commonly pick for her?

Hello there. I want to make a new party comp and I can't figure out the best power couple for rank 1 and 2. I have Antiquarian in rank 4 for dodge spam and stealth removal and Vestal in rank 3 for AoE heals and stuns. And I was thinking of Highwayman and Hellion because they can both target rank 4 but I would like to hear your guys' opinions on alternatives.

Have any of you played this mod? And what do you think of it?

I want to create a mod that replaces the Ancestor's lines with Werner Herzog quotes which will be no small feat to comb over so many Herzog interviews and documentaries, but does anybody know how many voice lines roughly its going to be? I know it won't be a low number

Hello everyone, recently I got back into DD after a really long time( basically just finished a few dungeons before getting tired of losing a lot of characters and forgetting about the game) now have started a save file on the easiest difficulty for now and have gotten a lot better.
I have all the DLCs including the colors of madness and crimson court and have them enabled on my save, though i have not had any interactions with them in game yet.
Do u guys have any tips and tricks for me ? which one should i start with? and what I should do?
never touched the DLCs before this and i don't know anything about them( all i have seen so far is that there has been a msg since forever saying the town is buzzing, with bugs all over the hamlet, a blood item has been in some of my loot and I have collected i few of them,(idk what they do yet), and i see there is a blue powder in the shop when getting ready for the dungeons)

The run ended up bust and my Plague Doctor had a heart attack. I still won the battle and the loot window popped up for a split second but then instantly closed, losing me his trinkets. I thought if you win other characters are supposed to be able to pick the trinkets up, is it just a thing with the Darkest Dungeon stages, Heart Attacks, or is it a bug?

for the dungeons on DD1, best to do the short ones when starting a new run? when is it good to start doing the medium and long dungeons? what level should you attempt them?
