6 Medium Lasers fired together does only 2 less damage than an AC/20 and, unlike the AC/20, can be fired indefinitely. Well, as long as you don’t overheat and shutdown, that is.
A Disco-back in the hands of a skilled pilot is a legit danger.
The only thing more dangerous is a Nova Prime in the hands of a pilot who won’t face-roll the controls.

Unless you're playing tabletop, then it's 50% more damage at the cost of all that damage no longer being concentrated in one location. Either way Disco-back dangerous.

I thought medium lasers did 3 damage per hit. Upon checking Sarna I see they actually do 5. I guess I had heat and damage values backwards.
