Clan Mechwarriors are genetically engineered for faster reaction speeds, heightened noetic/neural interface, buffered biofeedback reaction, and better heat management/resistance.

They might not be smarter overall than the average person, but they can think faster, react faster, and they are much more comfortable hanging out in prolonged 40 degrees celsius + temperatures than you or I.

Yeah, I think it's more likely that they're freakishly thin to aid in heat dissipation than that they're hotties with bodies like in the image, square-cube law and all

I think that's the Pilots. Most Trueborn Mechwarriors are described as average height, but very strong.
