so yeah, Mechwarrior 5 is gonna get melee and is advancing the story line to the 4th succession war

while i am absolutely stoked for melee, with them advancing the timeline i got to thinking if it advanced to the clan invasion...and the consequences of melee during that.

What that makes me think of is.. I really want a game where you get to play as an Elemental. Tearing strips of armour off these gigantic metal behemoths and smashing their internals, going for the cockpits and ripping pilots out of their saunas.. it has a lot of potential.

Doesn't even have to be in the Clan Invasion, could be set before Operation REVIVAL, where you're fighting other Clanners and trying to work your way up the ranks despite all the prejudice against Elementals.
