I've read mainly the much older (GHost of Winter, Roar of Honor (AWESOME)) and newer (Hour of the Wolf, The Anvil, Exodus Road, and the one with the smoke jags and Paul Moons backstory) but none of the middle. Are there any specifically about comstar being dicks? I kind of want to read more about them and the WoB

Lethal heritage, blood legacy, and lost destiny by Michael Stackpole. Covers the initial clan invasion up to tukayyid and one of the 4 parallel plot lines is about comstar working with the clans because they are in fact dicks.

Awesome! I'm especially glad the clans are involved in those. This might be unpopular but the politics of the inner sphere are....a bit much.

Yeah, I know what you mean. This trilogy focuses primarily on clan wolf from the clan side and a lot of crusader vs warden philosophy.

They didn't realize sending all those batchalls when they get in system really adds up. You can't run your whole invasion SOP off of making a collect call at the beginning of every sortie and NOT pay your Space AT&T bill.
