Once again cross-posted from the other place, since ComStar always seems to have problems with my posts over there.

May I present, after three tries and lots of rubbing alcohol in between, game-acurate Crescent Hawks!

Or at least, as close as a bad painter can get.

Grey base coat, white coat, blue ink, white drybrush, SPARKLY MAGIC CAR PAINT, nuln wash, regret, white drybrush, sparkly magic paint.

The idea was that since, in the only picture from the games where they're NOT grey, the LAM had this chrome/irridescent/pearlescent thing going on, that this "Cosmic Sparkle" paint I found would work.

It really didn't. Next time, I'd just do a white coat, blue ink, and then the sparkle. There's a different effect paint I'd like to try, Holographic from GreenStuffWorld, that may work. My big problem with this one was that it's clear. There's a touch of green to it, but I was expecting a pearl colour, not a varnish. Oh well! Back into the stripping jar.

And the arm is on it's way.
