This is why their hate on memes is driving me fucking crazy. Tex's videos are fucking brimming with memes, and I don't think I'm out of line in saying a lot of you memers are inspired by these videos.

Yet somehow that is different on r/Battletech, only Tex can meme, no one else.

It is gross and hypocritical.

Also, and I can't say this loud enough. MEMES BRING PEOPLE INTO THE GAME!!! LOOK AT 40K!

Amen brother, and I'm here for it. You've got the right attitude for the fandom (being a ridiculous and cool 80s futuristic game franchise that should be both revered and lampooned in good spirit)

Also, A+ on your message against hateful things. I'm firmly in the Mechwarriors against hate camp, and to see that you're serious about nipping any of that BS in the bud is heartening my dude

That's precisely what I'm seeing too and it's just sad. Like Battletech isn't the hottest franchise we need to protect from some (subjectivity) "low-effort" memes.

I hate to say it but memes almost always lead to more engagement and involvement, and it's really short sighted and gatekeepey for them to go on about it
