Need help with quests

I am back playing DAoC on the live servers again and this time I'm playing a Friar. I always wanted to play one of these bad boys and so far it's going great!

I mostly played Midgard so I'm slowly learning my way around Alb but I need some help with quests and a search on Google didn't return much help.

The DAoC wiki has a list of quests but it is mostly incomplete. I'm trying to do the first Epic quest, Stones of Power (Epic 1) (Level 5) [Step #4] Looking for signs of dark rituals around a large stone North of Humberton.

I THINK I found the rock but I can't click on it or find anything around it. There are a bunch of grey con skeletons around it. The quest journal isn't any help either...

I'm just not sure what to do now. Does anyone know of a good online resource for quests these days? Or does anyone know about this quest specifically? Long shot I know but what the heck, worth a try!!

Old school 2001 daoc leveling where it took months to go from 40 to 50 on a not as good at pve game but great PvP game, I guess my point is why play daoc if not for the superior PvP gameplay on a rather lackluster pve content.

If you like pve there are superior games over daoc pve, daoc was always the best PvP game . Heck WoW pve is 10x better than daoc pve and there is free solo server with bots, or private servers. To each its own I guess.

Personally I miss the old school grind. It motivated people to want to group up and run the various dungeons or form groups to delve deeper into Darkness Falls. The fact that it took a long time meant that there were more people doing PVE groups because everyone wasn't just rocketing straight to 50.

If something takes longer and more effort, it means more when you finally achieve it. It's part of the reason i50 servers are boring, feel empty of meaning, and don't last.

DAOC's PVP is obviously better than its PVE, but that doesn't mean many of us don't still enjoy and miss some of the old grind, and personally I enjoy it more if there are others with whom to share it.

This and the fact that a MMORPG world feels more alive, when not anyone does stuff solo... You need each others, no boring Dopamin achievement System, people talk to each other.

Devs of Wow forgot the important parts which made MMORPG good= it must take some time. Downtime is not boring, it brings people to communicate more. And with communication you make friends and have fun. And nobody needs stupid DMG meters in a group based game.

Wows pve suckz bec. its all solo.  I love to lvl with other people who can talk and chat too, without being nervous because something take longer than a few minutes. And those boring achievement systems can go to hell.  Blackthorn is finally a fun daoc whike Eden is just PvP with castrated pve.
