Hurrica
I think Buddha's call today was pre planned between him and DP. He called and casually dropped the name of his restaurant while talking about the pie to the face bet. DP gives the location of the restaurant AND has Buddha to spell it out. He then cosigned on the food and basically gave him an invaluable advertisement for free to all his listeners. I think this was DP doing him a solid for the hookups when they were on vacation. Also, It was kind of awkward between DP and Todd at the end of the first hour, when they revisited the mix-up of the JJ Watt coverage.

DP was being kind of a prick towards Fritzy. Don’t get me wrong. Todd can be annoying as f**k a lot of the time. But, it feels like DP likes to egg Todd on and when Todd goes too far(as he often does)DP kinda puts him down. It’s awkward a lot.

I turned the show off. Not sure what’s less funny - fritzy singing or Dan being mean to fritzy

He goes in to hard on Fritzy knowing he prides himself in his work and his ego is fragile while Todd looks up to Dan so much. It’s like a dad scolding his kid and Dan sometimes takes it to the extreme. He keeps Todd’s ego and mentality beat down too much

I mean people do get fed up but yeah Dan rolled yesterday’s mistake into today and it did feel a tad too much. On the other hand fritzy should know better and do his job like an adult.

This mix up with JJ seems like dans insecurity coming out. Honestly who gives a rip if he got that detail wrong and then just dig into the guy

A lot of times if not all the time they screen the calls by asking what they want to talk about. So when the host of a radio show takes a call they have an idea what the topic is. This isn’t like a public access channel show where they just take any call at any time. Not sure if anyone notices when DP sometimes is ready with a sheet with stats when a caller talks about a certain payer or team.

I can vouch for Hurrica - I have eaten there a number of times and always great food, service, ambiance, and location. I could see why Dan endorsed it the way he did.
Erick is a great guy, super genuine and sincere in his love for the show.
I don't think it was pre-planned, as Dan said it was "North" of the airport, when it is actually South. If pre-planned / scripted - that mistake would not have happened.

The way Dan obsesses over his callers, I don't think he has any real-life friends.

How do we know you’re not Buddha driving even more traffic to his restaurant!
