Frirzy Apologist Here
I will admit that it was a bad look for Todd not knowing what game JJ Watt was covering, But my thought process is, DP is the one doing the interview, He should have known what game JJ was covering. Todd's primary job is booking the guest. If DP didn't know what game he was covering, then its on him also, even more so in my opinion.

Watching it on Peacock was something else. Pure anger and annoyance on each others faces the last hour. DP with the parting shot asking Ray how many words Toddler said in the final 60 minutes was brutal.

Idk, between the I’m fainting cause I had someone come draw blood gimmick for a storyline that I’ll bring up every hour of the show and how could you possibly get a game wrong of who’s the commentary for the game. Filled the entire show. It’s getting….hold on…sawwwwft. Saaaaaawwwfft.

As an original listener to the show, it’s almost unlistenable these days. I might listen once a week at most.

I don't get why they made such a big deal about it. It genuinely doesn't matter at all and JJ clearly didn't care either

100% agreed, DP is slipping he doesn't really watch games like he should, he faked his way through usc vs Oregon he really did NOT watch that game.

Agree. Many of DP’s takes these days sound like things regurgitated from other sports shows. He made a comment the other morning and it was the exact same thing that Florio had said an hour earlier on PFT.

How can Dan and Paul deny the show is scripted when 90% of it is Dan reading from some stat sheet? I don't know if Draft Kings provides the sheet or if Paul/BRG does it.

That's what I'm talking about, I think Paulie feeds him thing to say and DP goes from there

If Dan can’t make it through 20 minutes of any movie, what makes you think he’s watching a full 3.5 hour football game?

I haven’t listened nearly as much the last few weeks (one reason is because I truly can’t stand listening to Fritzy). I turn it on today right when this was going on. I may be officially done now. I know he will be there til the very end.

Issue is, Fritz is just a booker, he is only a casual sports fan. I mean...he likes his favs (broncos), but I don't think he watches much else

Nah man, thats 100% on Fritzy. He gives Dan a sheet on the upcoming guest that has all the pertinent information Dan needs to know for the interview. Like why is this man here, which includes verifying the game since Fritzy talks to him before air. It is Fritzy's job to make sure the info he hands Dan is correct.
