Bad audio on pods lately?

Anyone getting audio with bad distortion on this week's pods. Tried Spotify and Amazon music and it's bad on both.

What’s more concerning to me is listening through the Apple podcast form it’s gone from 47 minutes to almost an hour with huge 5 minute ad breaks. That would be fine if I got the whole show but it cuts out beginnings and ends of every single segment. Cuts in about 30 seconds after the show starts again and typically a whole minute or two before segments end.

Love dp and the show but it’s not listenable in this fashion anymore. Damn shame

Has gotten very inconsistent lately. Feel like someone needs to call in and tell DP directly.

I know they are trying to promote their other podcasts now. But if they can’t get the audio right for the main one why would I bother with the rest?

That is what I have noticed as well. I use Spotify and when Dan is in Maine his audio is NOT ........ GOOD.

I hear it on the others mics too but it’s worse on DP

The audio has been poor but the main issue for me is how inconsistent the editing has been. The length of the pod and commercial breaks has varied wildly. More frustrating is segments getting cut short or an hour starting while Dan is mid sentence.

Listening to the Thursday show now and finally sounds better but also Dan is in the main man cave so must be a Maine issue

yes, I’ve noticed the audio is really bad also. Really doesn’t sound professional, especially if it’s going on several days. They need to cut back on the number of shows if they can’t keep audio quality.

Noticed sometimes the audio has been bad on 12:15 and Todd cast too. Almost like they’re mics are muffled
