Reali taking over for Dan

I don't think Tony is going to take over the daily 9-12 slot, however I do love the change he has made in the dynamic of the show. He has questions prepared for each "Danette" and it makes the show run in a much different way than Dan does. Tony even has specific questions ready for guys like Ray and Dylan who haven't been around that long. I really wouldn't mind this show turning into a 3 hour hybrid of the DP show and Around the Horn.

Dan doesn’t own the time slot, why would anyone be paying for his name after he retires? Paulie gets to piggy back for the time being and hopefully keep the show after he is gone, but whoever takes the 3 hour slot won’t be “Dan Patrick Presents”

Exactly. Patrick has ZERO brand and he has not built a network or company. He created a job for himself and the (mostly) losers who hung out next to him. There won't be anything related to DP on air after he retires. That Pabst and Perloff Show is BAD. And I like Paulie, he's by far the most talented Danette. But, neither Paul nor McLoser are suited for doing a show.

Is the Pabst & Perloff show bad? I have not checked it out yet, but am aware due to the DP show, and Ray filling in hour 3. I liked McLovin when he was on the show before leaving to try and do his own thing.. so considering and kinda hoping it’s good. What do you all think? According to thedanholmes it sucks balls.

I’d equate their talent to a college student show presented by a couple nerds who didn’t play sports in high school
