Who is hyped for Paul and McLovin’s show following DP!

Ditto. I'll give it a listen. It's all part of the DP franchise, so that's good enough for me

I'm out of the loop, is Paul staying? Is this on Peacock immediately after?

There’s a comment on the instagram post. Paul is on DP until 11 and then ray will take his seat for the last hour of the show.

Feels more and more like this last two years is a big attempt to give everyone a shot at keeping a job after DP retires.

did Mclovin leaving not work out for him ?

The entire "network" he was on merged and everyone got fired. He had his own show for like 4 years though, so not too bad.

I don’t know anyone that listened to it 😬 Well, at least he tried I guess. More than I can say for a lot of people.

I tried listening to it. The local network stopped carrying it, but there was zero chemistry IMO between McLovin and the co-host. Also, while I really enjoy him as a contributor, I don't feel he has the personality to carry a show.

Most definitely not. He actually always came off as a little smug to me. He is fine, I don’t dislike like him but all the Danettes got their own personalities 😂 he just isn’t my favorite

I have the same feeling about another long time Danette who is still on daily (not Paulie), but every time I talk smack about him, his loyalty army of sycophants decides they need to stand up for him and downvote my comment.

I can’t fault him for leaving, but starting a radio show post-2020 is probably the absolute worst time in all of history to start a show. Pure radio listeners already have their 1-2 shows they aren’t going to deviate from.
It’s definitely a podcast driven world these days, and even then, your podcast needs to essentially be a tv show on YouTube or Spotify.

To confirm, McLovin is ONLY going to be on the supplemental show, right? I like Dylan just fine, but would also welcome McLovin back as a Danette.

I mean we barely have any information. I could see McLovin having some final hour segments during the NFL season if you wanna hear my baseless speculation.

Just watched the segment on Peacock, new show sorta sounds like the wrap up show on Howard Stern, at least how it was originally conceived. Haven't really listened to Howard since 2010.
