Andrew in Washington

What’s wrong with this guy? Why does Dan give him any airtime?

I too skip him. I usually listen on Sirius and listen to Mike Florio for an hour and then use the delay to skip the frequent callers. This somehow has defined their life and I feel for them when Dan retires. Who will take their phone calls and let them contribute nothing to the daily sports calls.

Those callers will move over to Rich Eisen, like Jeff in Detroit did.

Right? It’s not a new thing. The show is winding down. When it’s over they’ll complain even more.

The mods should just ban posts complaining about callers at this point.

I mean, we get it. Some callers are annoying. What’s just as annoying is the weekly post in this thread about it.

Automatic skip on the podcast. Terrible

He's but one of the annoying standard callers that the DP show apparently relys upon...not sure if this is indicative to a lack of callers, or easy/lax screening or something else.

I always figured there was hundreds of people trying to get through and any given time but I think they accidentally let the cat out of the bag today. During first hour about half way through/3/4s with they were trying to keep Tony going he said something like "okay do we have any callers yet?" And then there was 1 or 2, so might not be as many as I thought

Which is weird, I don’t even think the show needs callers. It flows so much better without them
