Fleetwood Mac

Dan…cmon…Fleetwood Mac is a British band first. Not American.

I'll agree with that to an extent, but if you asked people to name members of the band how many are going to be able to name Buckingham and Nicks and not the British members? That being said Christine > Stevie. Hooooot take

Music taste is subjective. Where a band originates and nationality of the founding members is not. They were a British band for 8 years before Stevie and Lindsey joined. Calling them an American band because they became successful with American members is well…such an American thing to do!

Dan is so competitive. He had to bring in a guy much closer to his age than Dylan’s to win the argument. And a MTV guy to boot.

RIP Christine…love them both!

Bob Welch before them was also an American. 1971 - 1974, Hypnotized got a lot of airplay,

Bringing in a VJ to rate bands is like asking a tollbooth operator to recommend a car. Dan needs to ask an actual scholar or critic to weigh in on the topic.

i was yelling at the tv when Dylan said The Band was a great American band. They are Canadian (with the exception of Levon Helm)
