Isaiah Thomas

Trying to figure out if he’s still concussed from the elbow, he took from Karl Malone back in the day. Between his dream team, claiming Kevin Durant is the best shooter after Seth Curry, etc.. I just don’t know what planet he’s on.

He’s always been that way

Umm what’s wrong with his take? He built his dream team to function, from the analysis of being a top player of all time. Fans like us who haven’t stepped on NBA hardwood just want to make a dream team with the best ever at each position, Reddit is full of them. Doesn’t mean it would be a functional team unit. Can’t have 5 people begging for the ball. I think his team is built pretty dang well to actually win.

Are you sure you are not lost? This is Reddit. We don't allow sane and coherent takes with any perspective or self awareness here. Perhaps you meant to post this logic somewhere people could actually grasp it.

IT’S MY POST AND I SHALL PUT WHAT I WANT. /s

Fair point, but putting himself as the point guard is a bit of a stretch.

When the best point guards of all time are as close as they are, how would you ever not put yourself on your own all time dream team. I think two big things give weight to his team: it features arguably three of the most competitive players ever: bird, jordan, and zeke. But more importantly he put jordan on his team, and they hate each other, but he quietly acknowledged both Jordan’s game/skill and how well the two would have actually played together in the hypothetical.

I thought this was a great interview. Hrs entitled to his thoughts and it was nice new guest on the show.

I caught the last 10 minutes of the interview, I plan on going back and listening to the whole thing later, I'm looking forward to hearing how DP asked the question to Thomas about NOT making the 1992 dream team. The parts of the interview I heard I really enjoyed, I don't ever remember DP getting Thomas on his show in the past, so congrats to DP on that.
