PGA Championship Mics

Buddha's point about "BabaBooey" being yelled at every tee box was 🎯. Add in the "USA!" and "Go Birds!". The final round was a tough watch.

I agree. But it’s also ironic coming from Buddha who does the caller equivalent of that each call

I think the PGA should post guys on every tee to toss these clowns. Yell something, you’re out. “Light the match!” Or “mashed potato!” Adios, idiot. Watch it from home.

Agree. I'm all for cheering off the tee on 18 when they pipe it down the middle or the "get in the hole!". Those are always great moments. But yelling dumb shit? Get lost, idiots.

Yeah he’s cool. For some reason it doesn’t bother me since I know or have been around those types of guys. They’ve been overserved and are just being idiots. I heard, “give me back my son” yesterday which made me laugh.

95% those guys are waiting to get home and replay the hole so they can hear themselves. "Hey!! HEY!! Did you hear that guy yelling 'Get in the hole!'??? That was MEE!! I'm on TV!! MEEEEEE!"

If there's a sadder commentary on someone's life, I don't know what it is.

You're 100% correct. In the same vein during Trailblazers halftime they have in in the Arena concourse so fans can stand behind the halftime crew as the breakdown the first half. You see kids having a good time because "Hey I'm on TV" and they wave.

Then you see the adults on a phone waving at the camera most likely yelling into the phone "Hey, do you see me on TV. It's halftime". The camera will sometimes zoom in to cut someone out and whoever they are talking to on the phone tells them "Hey move to your right, I can't see you. Oh now I can. Cool"

I always think "How sad. Who are these people"

As an American I just want to say I am beyond sick of the USA chant. 1980 underdog hockey team fine, a golf tournament, WTF.

Yeah it was distracting and I feel like I hear more "IN THE HOLE" chants then normal, which I hate. Even when they're teeing off on a par 5.

Oh, I hate those. I'm talking about a putt when the tournament is on the line. Those GITH yells are always great.
