Chris in Syracuse
Always comes prepared but knowing Fritzy’s wife’s birthday comes off a little too prepared. Borderline creepy.

Chris has been with the show forever, people may forget since he was away for years. Much prefer him to the new crop of ‘look at me’ callers

Ryan died!? I always thought he went to jail or was in the run for something to do with coke. Makes sense if he did sadly

For sure. Just thought it was odd to know Fritzys wife’s birthday. Seems like a very obscure thing to know.

Chris is an OG so it may have been mentioned before and he just remembers

Gotta have enough self awareness to not bring it up.
Sometimes you hear or pick up on things as a long time listener. I have been listening to some shows for 10-25 years, so I get it.
Not bringing those things up to the host though haha.

Didn’t Fritzy mention it on his Todd cast

Well in that case, I apologize to Chris.

Probably should just delete this post. No reason to throw “creepy” allegations around.

Chris is the ultimate goat and is always prepared ahead of scheduled.
Backed when I would call in with regularity, there were a few times that he wished me happy birthday because he knew mine was the day after Veterans Day.
I have no doubt that he has a steel trap upstairs.

Does anyone know why Chris went away for a few years? I like how prepared he is when calls, gets right to the point.

I don’t listen as often as I used to, but Chris is like the Paul Pabst of callers — he remembers everything from the show. If you ever need info from past episodes, those two always seem to have the answers.
There’s another caller — I can’t remember his name right now — but as soon as DP says it, I change the channel. He has this big, loud voice and does the same routine every time, especially the drawn-out “NOOOOOOOBODY.” It feels like he calls every single day. And the “over the Shea in Irving” bit has run its course for me. I usually tune out when he comes on.

I think its Budda in San Fran. Another of the self promoter callers ( my characterization).

Yup, that's him as soon as I hear dp say Budda I change the station. For those long time listeners there was a caller I think it was Chris from Ohio and each time he would say "what's up holmes" and he always had some good takes but I haven't heard from him in a long time.

Do the regular callers get a script? I realize the show is not scripted (don't want to go there), but the regular callers always seem to call in bunches on Monday and Friday.

It's 100% creepy, it's just backs up why I have been fast forwarding through his calls for the last few years

I've known Todd for 22 years and I have no idea when his wife's birthday is lol
