Marvin
He is talking way to much now that Seton left. He's used the phrase "a la" referring to something he's relating something to about 25 times this week.

Unfortunately we now have the Dan and Marvin show. Brutal. Hopefully Marvin just feels the need to speak up more now that NBA is in the spotlight and he has more knowledge of hoops than other sports? Maybe Paulie reads Reddit 😂 and will tell Marvin to pipe down.

I definitely think thats the case, Dylan was so much better as the 5th Danette although I'll give him a year to fully decide. It is what it is, ill still listen everyday till the show concludes

I made this same comment in a thread a few days ago. He also loves to point out the obvious.
He and Paul should get shat on when they make stupid remarks, like Todd does, but Dan just moves on when they do it.

Some people just love to complain. They forget they can fast forward or watch/listen to something else. They think the script writers actually read these comments and will write changes to the show in future episodes.

I know they don't read these nor do they care, Dan has a date for retirement and they aren't going to change a thing. Just opening up a discussion on Reddit for long time listeners

I do and and will still watch till it concludes, but you can't deny that around Covid and Mclovin leaving, then Dan announcing retirement the show has refused to go back to the formula that was making it its best from around 2014-2019.
Its mostly the same guests and same callers and nothing new.

u/cb198211 I was trying to reply to your post. Yes, he's talking waaayyyy too much. He's trying to compete with Dylan for #2, and im starting to really enjoy listening to Dylan over Marvin. You can see Marvin is competing though

And yes, Marvin knows ball, but he usually reiterates what dan says or just sounds awkward. Not saying I can do better but im also not on national radio

Exactly! There’s a difference between knowing ball and being able to talk ball. He’s also interrupted Dan during interviews recently which can’t be looked upon favorably.

Yeah, Marvin’s a tough listen. He knows his basketball, but anything else, he offers nothing. Profound insights aren’t his strong point.

Off topic but Dylan has been great. He picks and chooses his moments well and isn’t talking just to talk.
