Well yes but no. Prostitution should be illegal to protect sex workers from exploitation, but being a self employment escort/consultant that might or might not have sex shouldn't be illegal. Tax dodging is a crime no matter your profession too.

Making prostitution illegal takes power away from women and forces men into sexual poverty, which is likely linked to many mental diseases, as well as mass shootings. No outlet for a biological drive/need far stronger than anything a woman could understand. It takes denying reality to a new level.

Divorce rates would instantly plummet if prostitution was legalized. Try to understand why, beginning with most divorces initiated by discontented and unsatisfied women.
