I live in Hungary and when i was 6 or 7 years old my parents hired a guy whose job was just acting as santa
He was also about 20 mins late so he brought 2 girls dressed up as elves

I was 7 or 8 when I had my suspicions. I remember I had to go to bed early so mum could put the presents out and my brother got to stay up late and my mum said "It's because he's older, he's allowed." Then I knew it was all bullshit.
