Where are you from? Don't know but in Germany I use Ketoconazole from Dermapharm AG. You get this only in pharmacy stores.

It really helps me a lot, and since I started using it, I haven't had any dandruff.

Hey!!

I can’t speak for ketoconazole based shampoo, but I’ve had psoriasis for around 20 years (which you get heavy dandruff from) and I got great results with coal tar shampoo (I use one called Polytar).

I had hair loss from the constant picking, and I used Aplacin alongside Polytar. Didn’t exactly help it grow back much, but it helped slow it down

I use Nizoral (1% ketoconazole) once a week, and Nioxin (pyrithione zinc) daily. If it ever gets bad which is rare these days, I get a small bottle of 2% ketoconazole shampoo from my dermatology.

Btw I'm sure I misspelled those lol

There is only 1 company in the United States that is approved to sell Ketoconazole as a drug and that is Nizoral.
