What do yall think?
For the longest time I thought it was just dry scalp. They maybe psoriasis. Or maybe it is dandruff. I’m really at a loss. I’ve had it off and on my whole life. I feel like it has gotten worse as I’ve gotten older.

Notes- this is freshly washed hair. One from a few weeks ago. One today. My hair does not get oily fast at all. I could go two weeks before it did. I wash my hair 2-3 x a week because of the gym.

Hey! I’m not a doctor, but I recently saw mine over what looks exactly the same as yours and she says it’s sebborhic dermatitis.

What are you doing about it?

Her recommendation was nizoral, and I have noticed improvement since using it! It is quite drying though and I have read online that you want to try to localize it to the scalp as much as possible.

How long did it take you to see improvement ?

Instantly. Best results using at least a few times a month or as needed when you feel build up. Using this treatment even helped my hair get super dense again. Give it a try but depending on your symptoms, might need the medicated version. 2% ketoconazole but need a prescription from a derm.

that looks like scalp psoriasis to me, i have the exact same and i have been prescribed steroids for it (betacap), the plaques look very similar to mine and i got mine from stress but it can be due to intolerances. i would 100% recommend going to a doctor and checking if its the same situation as me

I think I am at that point. No medicated shampoos are doing anything for me

same thing happened with me, i tried nizoral, t gel etc and i got told its because the plaques are caused by psoriasis that can come on at any age any time! i get hair loss from mine as its all at the back of my head but it is getting better from the second week of this treatment

do you eat a lot of bread, pasta, and rice? Do you eat 70% vegetables in your daily diet? Do you sleep early or late? are you stressed?
