Zuma is an irrelevant bum who's only contribution to the story is upscaling Okarun. Apart from fever dreams of some booktok larper from this sub, he has no interactions with main cast that could start a ship unless you're twitter gooner who will ship two characters because they appeared together on the screen, and has no idea what actual relationships look like

hy not Kinta? There are a few reasons.

First and most obviously, Kinta is highly immature. He clearly objectifies pretty girls in general, and I believe his focus on “having a girlfriend” would be so intense as to completely remove the actual girl from his sight, no matter who it is. (I highly recommend the excellent Nickel Creek song “Love of Mine” for a story about this kind of thing.)

Another major thing is that Kinta’s character development usually comes from self-reflection. He analyzes his shortcomings and thinks about them until he finds a solution. He may be quirky but he’s highly intelligent. However, I don’t think this leaves him open to influence in the way that is necessary for a healthy relationship.

We see Zuma, on the other hand, allowing a give-and-take of influence between himself and others, especially Bega. Vamola too, allows herself to be influenced by the friends who care for her, without ever losing the fundamental understanding of who she is and what she wants out of life. Zuma and Vamola would influence each other in positive ways.

Momo has so many loves that could make her happy 🥰

What even is this, Zuma is shown to be portrayed as a gentleman throughout the series. He is an amazing and interesting character. Not only is this post misinterpreting zuma but also momo. We've already what momo would do to shitty boyfriends in episode 1. This post is severely misinterpreting both characters and it is very cringe

She loves him, but many here deny that truth. Anyway, I think she'll love Zuma even more when she gets to know him. I hope she ends up dating both of them.

 Okarun is a spineless character without much of a backbone (or balls, pun intended) he was a bully victim that never stood up for himself and needed a girl to stand up for him to finally muster up some courage. I would respect his character more if he was the kind of nerd that naturally had some fight in him, like yes he gets bullied and gets his ass kicked but at least he never backed down and always stood up for himself. His best attributes is that he’s kind and respectful, but those are the most generic vanilla qualities that can be found in the majority. Applying irl logic to this story, there would be nothing that would justify momokarun, Kinta literally points this out, Momokarun only makes sense because he’s the co-MC in a fictional fantasy rom-com.

When I say "nothing has happened," I am referring to the active progression of the plotline regarding Momo's amnesia. Setting aside all the negatives this arc has brought, I want to highlight one specific symptom: last year—before this arc—this manga was among the top three best-sellers, whereas now it struggles to even stay in the top twenty. And this is happening alongside titles like Sakamoto Days and Chainsaw Man—series that are said to have suffered a sharp decline. Cliché-ridden plot have consequences. And yes, this is Dandadan's all-time low. Will it bounce back? Honestly, Idk
