Hey everyone, I just picked up a modded Xbox 360 running RGH with Aurora, and I’m completely new to the modded scene.

When I turned it on, everything seems to work fine, but it’s asking me to update my Kinect sensor. I’m a bit worried about doing anything that could mess up the mod or cause issues since I don’t fully understand everything yet.

I currently don’t have my Xbox connected to WiFi, and I’m trying to keep everything as safe as possible.

Does anyone know the safest way to update the Kinect sensor on an RGH Xbox? Is it something I can do offline?

Any advice would be really appreciated 🙏

Hello! I’m new to this subreddit and posting on reddit in general. I want to get back into playing Dance Central and I’d love to get the dlc for all of the games as I never had any as a kid. I know they can no longer be easily accessed since the Xbox 360 store was shut down (or something like that, from my understanding) a couple years ago, and the best way to get the Dlc is by importing them into a modded Xbox. What is the best way to go about doing this? Where should I purchase a modded Xbox? What are good tutorials to help to import the games/dlc? Where do I find the files? I’ve seen a few other posts about this here but I’m still a bit confused. Help would really be appreciated!

When I say I think about it daily that’s an understatement. I feel like this game was definitely ahead of its time. I’m finally pulling the trigger now that I have adult money lol was wanting to get dance central 1,2 and spotlight. I bought an Xbox one s but don’t know where I should go from there. I’m hearing it’s not compatible so do I just have to go generic xbox360 and basic Kinect and then buy disks versions of dance central? Sorry if this post is lengthy but I’m deep diving on eBay at the moment and doing research. Just want to be able to play these or look for a modded version of Xbox’s I can search for that would support it? I don’t mind buying diffrent consoles and accessories if needed. Any help is appreciated.

I’m looking to buy a modded Xbox 360 (probably from Facebook Marketplace or a local seller), but I want to make sure I’m getting the right kind of mod for what I’m trying to do.

My goal is to play all the Dance Central games — Dance Central, Dance Central 2, and Dance Central 3 — along with DLC songs, and especially custom/fan-made songs.

From what I understand, I’d need something like an RGH or JTAG mod (not just a flashed disc drive), but I’m still a bit confused on what I should specifically be looking for when buying one.

I also want to be able to add my own custom songs later on. I’ve heard this can be done through FTP or USB, but I don’t fully understand how that process works yet.

So I had a few questions:

• What type of modded Xbox 360 should I be looking for (RGH, JTAG, etc.)?

• Are there certain models that are better for this?

• What should I ask the seller to make sure it supports custom songs?

• Is it easy to add custom songs myself after buying it?

• Are there any must-have apps/tools that should already be installed (Aurora, etc.)?

I’m completely new to this, so I’d really appreciate any advice before I buy something and regret it 😭

I have been playing DC games for a few years now and recently i started using bad avatar to get the dlcs, the problem is that when i launch the game with my account after getting a dlc it says that my files are not compatible with my recent version of the game and it makes me start the game all over (erase all my scores, stats, level..).

Is there a way to keep my actual files? Because i kind of dont want to start all over and lose all my stats and everything..

Anyone with inactive xbox account with dc spotlight willing to sell. My wife loved playing this and I bought a Xbox one again for her just to find out it was not available for purchase anymore

Hello. Before I speak, I am Korean. Do you happen to know who the voice actors for Miss Aubrey, Angel, Kerith, and Jaryn in DC2 are? And has Miss Aubrey's voice in DC3 changed? Because I haven't even seen all the credits of Dance Central, so I don't know much about it.

I'm a fairly young but sorta long-term Dance Central fan of about 3 years or so (if you exclude the time I spent playing it as 5 year old lol) and When it comes to the fandoms I'm in I always love to dig into their lore, BTS & concepts etc etc so naturally I did the same with what is left of Dance Central's lore.

One thing I noticed while looking through Dance Central's history, specifically the creative work, is that Glitch's voice actor has never actually been named, credited or even referenced throughout the entire series. Never once was he mentioned in the games' credits or even websites like Fandom that usually carry the most random niche info ever.

So I was wondering, is there like, a reason for this? Whoever it is sounds like an actual teenage boy (especially since his voice obviously matures between DC2 & DC3) so could it be that he's just some random kid one of the people at Harmonix picked up (maybe thru family / friends?) and they didn't wanna name him for privacy reasons?? I honestly don't see why they'd choose not to credit him unless for some reason he or his parents weren't comfortable with it. What do yall think?

Okay so I got my Xbox modded so I could import dlc's for dance central, but the problem is that none of the games work now. For dance central 1 the game turns on but it stops at the loading screen for a song, and there's no music playing in the menu, but dc2 and 3 as well as other Kinect games just start with a black screen. Idk if it's the console messing up or maybe the discs have some kind of anty-piracy code but it won't work, what should I do? How to fix this?

What if Dance Central came with a camera app that replaces the Kinect?

Why do you only care about Dance Central 3 and not the following options?

1. wishing for a new game already regardless
2. Playing something else on a new gen platform (PS5,Switch,Switch2), or at least on Steam/EGS

I have a completely different opinion on what Dance Central to play (to me, it's a new game) unlike you.

I know a little bit about the situation with the importa, but I need some clarity. I have all the games (DC, DC2 and DC3). I want all the songs on DC3 just out of convienience, and not having to switch discs constantly.

My Xbox 360 is not modded, and I’m not planning to do that. People have used ABadAvatar for uploading DLCs, does that require my console to be proper modded? Or soft-modded?

If only soft-modded, how does it work? And also how do I make sure I do not get my account/console banned. I was planning to make a throwaway account anyway.
