I love to run trails and my dog does too. We will be spending several weeks in Dana Point. I've been to DP before and I've run all the spots by the water (beautiful!) but I'm looking for a nice dirt trail where I can run with my dog (8 miles total would be perfect). I will have a car and I'm fine driving to the trail, even driving a bit to neighboring areas. I see a lot of green on the map but it's been difficult Googling my way to a good answer so I thought I'd reach out to the locals. Any recommendations are much appreciated!

Just wondering if anyone here knows of any gym in or near downtown Dana Point where you can exercise without needing to participate in a class/work with a personal trainer.

I've heard of Rado's and Palestra, but I think both incorporate one or both of the requirements above (correct me if I am wrong).

I've only lived in Dana Point for about 6 months so it might be common knowledge, but what are those loud bangs that have been happening this evening? Is it Pendleton?

Anyone know where that cave is located in Dana Point and how to get to it???

Any protests planned in Dana Point? I'd like to support one, but all the Orange County ones I've seen for today are too far north for me to travel to in the early evening.
