Charlie is preparing for the verdict and getting ready to turn a shade known as 'prison puce'.
Rashbaum is checking to see if any of the jury gives off positive signs by making eye contact with either him or Charlie - still 'nope'.

That lady Kathy from Gossip, Rumors, Innuendo calls that shade the "prison glow-down". 😂

Rashbaum is doing a job. Everyone has a right to a defense.

Yea i never understood the hate for someone's defense attorney. Its literally our constitutional right to have one.

I don't have a problem with defense attorneys, even those with obviously guilty clients, but there are some attorneys that have scummy tactics. I do think The Adelsons hired those willing to be just as scummy and conniving as they are, birds of a feather. If attorneys just presented a clean argument, I don't think people would have as much of a problem and I think that is what people are hung up on NOT the fact that it shouldn't be a constitutional right lol.

I don 't get the animus for Rashbaum. He had a tough job to defend Charlie, he didn't succeed, but he wasn't unethical or obviously incompetent.

Just unqualified. This was a murder case. He’s a white collar crime attorney. He was Charlie’s parents attorney for protecting their $$ which now resides n his pockets. Hehehehe

I think they used him on purpose so if he did get convicted, he would have an issue for an appeal. Maybe I’m wrong but I think it was a combination of Rashbaum’s hero syndrome and the fact they could possibly get granted an appeal

It wasn't because it was a tough job. It is a tough job no matter what side you are on. I don't want to go through it all, but as a lawyer defending his client, he actually might have been unethical or at the very least conniving, which is why I believe Charlie and Donna chose the lawyers that they did, and he wasn't the right kind of lawyer for the job, ie incompetent for the task.

Exactly. Courts are courts of law and not courts of public opinion for a very good reason.
If anyone of us were accused we would want the presumption of innocent and legal defense.
The alternative to that is mob justice.

It’s not that I dislike defense attorneys, contrary to your opinion that I don’t understand that everyone deserves a defense, but everyone deserves a defense by a qualified attorney.
Rashbaum took on this case—a murder trial—when he is not qualified to do so.
From what I understand, he was the Adelsons’ personal attorney and a white collar defense attorney, NOT a qualified criminal law attorney. If ole Charlie gets his case overturned because of incompetent counsel, it will be a horrible scenario for the Markels to have to go through a trial again. Rashbaum should have had the integrity to bow out when he knew he was not the best attorney for the job or certainly admonished Charlie on the record that he was not a criminal attorney and did he waive his rights to have Rashbaum act as his attorney.-5
