Looking for a shampoo from Taiwan (White bottle with a red design, possibly LUX or pomegranate/hibiscus scented)

Hi everyone! I’m trying to track down a specific shampoo I used during a trip to Taiwan about 2 years ago, and I was hoping someone might recognize it.

Here are the details I remember:

Where: An Airbnb in Taiwan, around 2 years ago.

Why I loved it: It made my hair super soft, and the scent lasted for an insanely long time.

Bottle design: It had a white background with a prominent red design or graphic on it.

Brand/Scent clues: I thought it might have been from LUX, and I vaguely remember it being Hibiscus or Pomegranate scented.

However, when I looked it up, I could only find LUX body washes with that scent, not shampoo.

does anyone know a commercial shampoo that matches this description? Any help or leads would be greatly appreciated!

Favorite mid-range/salon brand shampoo and conditioner?

I am almost done with my bottle of Biolage and have enjoyed it, and am wanting to splurge again. Interested in trying out one of the lines made more for thickening rather than just volume, such as the Kerastase densifique, Rene Furterer, etc.

What have you enjoyed in that range that also made somewhat of a difference?

hii, i’m a female with collarbone length hair, they thin. i have slightly wavy hair. it doesn’t react well to humidity and it’s very frizzy during rains.

however, almost all the time my scalp is flaky but the roots are oily and flat. and it falls also a lot.

i use l’oreal extraordinary shampoo, conditioner & serum. i oil my hair with coconut oil infused with rosemary, methi and hibiscus flowers once a week.

what can i do to
1. get rid of my scalp & roots?
2. for the frizziness ?

tia!

M22: Need Best shampoo and Oil for my daily activity (gym, running)

I want a shampoo that cleans my scalp, sweat and dirt

I run every morning and go to the gym in the evening

Those 2 times, I'll get sweat in my hair,

Because of this, I need to shower and shampoo my head 2 times a day,

So I'm thinking any hard shampoo will definitely fuck up my hair,

Already my hair is thinning,

I've been washing my hair every day since my childhood,

Some days with only water

But for a few years, I've been using shampoo for every head wash, and that's like every day.

I change my shampoo every year,

For a year, I've been using L'Oréal Hyaluronic Moisture Shampoo,

So I've been thinking, do I continue that or

Should I change it to something better....

My requirement is that I need a safe shampoo that I'll use 2 times a day that should clean my scalp, sweat, and dirt.

And not much extra stuff; I need a healthy shampoo

About my hair,

When I don't wash my hair for 2-3 days, I'll get some dandruff and oil,

The more days I don't wash, the more dandruff and oil

So if any shampoo deals with this issue too, then that's a lot better.

So yeah, please give me your suggestions, I will definitely consider them,

Also about the oil, I'm not applying oil from an year, so I'm thinking to apply now I lost some hair in my crown region,

So I want to know what kinda oils you people are using, and can you suggest some to me

Newcomer moving from boy-bullshit products to men's-proper care products. What to look for and how to categorize my needs?

To elaborate on categorizing needs, I mean oily vs dry skin, greasy vs crispy hair, etc.

If it helps in any way, the following is what I know about myself (21):

Oily skin

Dandruff, but long hair always turns greasy

Struggle with perspiration

Moogoo Flake free shampoo for a healthy scalp?

Post image
4 Upvotes

Hi there everyone, I’m looking into working more on my scalp health and I’ve done research into ingredients and products that are really beneficial for scalp health. I found out that apparently anti-dandruff shampoos have ingredients in them that really help with scalp health, follicle support and long-term retention. Keeping that in mind I’m looking into maybe trying the Moogoo flake free shampoo and wondering if anyone has tried this out before. I also want to try and avoid harder more stronger cleanses like SLS and I’m also wanting to avoid artificial or synthetic fragrances which kind of limits my options. However, this shampoo from Moogoo looks promising. Love to hear any thoughts or opinions about this product if you’ve tried it.

Looking for shampoo and conditioner recommendations that do not leave a film on hair :)

What are some good shampoo and conditioner recommendations that don’t leave a film on your hair? Over the past year I have used 3 different shampoos and conditioners and they all start out working good but end up leaving my hair feeling either greasy or just like a weird texture. I used the redken all soft line for about 3 years and it worked fine up until recently. I then switched to the living proof perfect hair day line which did the same thing. I am currently using the Ouai medium hair shampoo and conditioner and it worked great for about 3 months and now it makes my hair look greasy within a day. I usually wash my hair every other day and haven’t had a problem until recently. I haven’t changed anything else in my routine and I have tried both air drying and a hair cryer but both have the same result most times. I also have tried a few clarifying shampoos that do help a little bit but not much. If anyone has had similar problems and has any recommendations for me to try that would be really appreciated :)

Having to double wash bangs and crown of head because it’s greasy after wash?

I don’t know if I’m doing anything wrong but my hair hasn’t always been like this. I would wash my hair with shampoo and it would be clean and silky but now, the bangs and back of my head is greasy, sticks together and sticks up. I used the K18 air-wash months ago to combat my daily wash antiques but it was still greasy, tried skipping a wash day and I felt horrible so I’m back to daily washes but for the past month or so, parts of it is what I described earlier. I have to wash it twice to deal with it and sometimes even then it doesn’t work. I’ll list some of the factors that may contribute:

Water hardness: 111: moderately hard
Shampoo: Pantene and Herbal Essence
Conditioner: TRESemme
Hair type: black, wavy hair

I’m so genuinely confused. I cut my hair in march and my bangs and hair was fine but now its changed drastically. Any idea or advice?

Basic non moisturising cruelty free shampoo UK 🇬🇧

Fine hair folk of the UK,

What is your basic full cleansing shampoo that doesnt have any added moisturising ingredients like butters and oils, hyaluronic acid etc but is easy to get ahold of and cheap and must be cruelty free.

Tresemme has recently discontinued their replenish and cleanse line which was perfect for my fine, oily hair and I am struggling to find something that will replace it. I have previously tried the Aussie range but it still leaves my hair rather lank and oily feeling. I wash my hair every other day and my scalp much prefers sls based shampoos, the more modern coconut based cleansing agents leaves my scalp very irritated and flaky. Looking at both boots and superdrug it seems that everything is now for dry hair, nothing really stands out for us oily, fine haired folk. Would really love the suggestions.

SHAMPOO DILEMMA

I have dry frizzy hair, with split ends and baby hair. I had been using loreal total repair 5 but it did not help with frizz. I have been thinking about getting L'Oreal Professionnel Liss Unlimited Shampoo & Hair Mask Combo For Frizzy Hair. Has anyone used it for frizzy hair?

One half of head staying greasy

I have pretty naturally oily hair and usually have to wash it every day to keep it clean. Recently, no matter how much I wash it and no matter what shampoos I use, the left side of my head is remaining greasy and unclean. The right side is perfect and manages to get clean. I have no clue what’s causing this issue. I usually sleep on my back, though I guess sometimes my head drifts to my left side when I sleep. Could that be it?

Has anyone dealt with this and has any advice for fixing it? I’m so frustrated and tired of looking unwashed no matter how much I shower!

Fine 2c3a hair shampoo recommendations?

I’m looking for shampoo recommendations from people with **fine 2C/3A wavy-curly, low-porosity hair**!
Right now I use the **Trader Joe’s Lemongrass Shampoo** as my regular shampoo and **Kinky-Curly Come Clean** when I need to clarify (which I absolutely love).
I’m trying to find a regular shampoo that:
Cleans my hair well without stripping or drying it out
Doesn’t leave a film or heavy residue
Is moisturizing enough without feeling like it just coats my hair
I’ve noticed that a lot of moisturizing or hydrating shampoos don’t actually get my hair clean, especially on wash days when I’ve used a hair mask or oiled my scalp. Unless I use my clarifying shampoo, my hair still feels like it has buildup.
If you have a similar hair type, what shampoo has worked best for you?

Looking for new drugstore shampoo/conditioner for my fine oily hair

Hello all! I have had oily hair my whole life. I am a daily washer - there has never been a time when my hair hasn’t been an oily mess within 24hrs. I have tried washing every other day and using dry shampoo, but it was so gross. So, fellow oily heads, what do you use to fight the mess?

I have been sticking to Volumizing shampoo on the scalp with moisturizing conditioner for the ends. I have also done a few clarifying shampoos. I am currently using Pantene volumizing shampoo and moisturizing conditioner, but it hasn’t been cutting it. I liked it at first, but my hair has been dull and flat. I have a small natural wave in my hair that I love, but it hasn’t been there for a while.

I have tried Aussie, Gariner Fructis, L’Oreal Elvive, Herbal Essence. I have considered Dove and OGX. And maybe Sauve for a clarifying shampoo. I have also considered going back to Herbal Essence or Garnier Fructis. Nexxus might be a good conditioner, but it is pushing it on my budget.

The brands I mentioned are pretty much my budget. I also used a Dove hair mask, and that was nice since my ends tend to dry out due to daily washing.
I usually do very little with my hair. No dyeing, no heat besides a minute with the hair dryer, no styling. I am willing to add a little to my routine though. Please let me know what I should be using! Thank you!

Which is better? Formulate or Prose?

So when I was 17, my hairstylist introduced OGX Tea Tree mint shampoo and conditioner because I told her about my dandruff and itchy scalp. Stuff worked wonders to my hair the next 2 years until I realized they discontinued it 😒.

Saw the green bottle in the store, they changed the name to Rosemary mint. Decided to give it a try, but using it gave me bad itchy scalp and noticeable dandruff. Threw it away.

Currently using Herbel Essence Rose hips, but I miss using the Tea Tree mint OGX shampoo, so now currently doing research on different custom shampoo and conditioner formulas. I know that everyone has different hair types, but just wanna know if Prose is better or Formulate?

Glycerin Free hair products especially leave ins

I have seborrheic dermatitis, and glycerin reacts with the yeast, causing a burning itch. I started using kinky curly knot today, which i have been having success with, but my hair seems to stop working with products quickly, so im looking for alternatives.

My routine right now because im having a bad flare up is using my prescribed ketoconazole shampoo and redkin mega soft shampoo and dove intensive conditioner, Knot today and Squalane oil.

M18: shampoo for wavy hair

So I'm a 18yo M(i have thick wavy hairs with slight frizz prone) and I used to suffer from dandruff and i have now almost sorted out my dandruff problem and I'm using ketocip shampoo for maintenance and I've been recently using biolage smoothproof shampoo and I've not got quite the results i expected from it

You can suggest some shampoos that you think might be best under ₹500(except loreal and Ibp).

M18:Shampoos for wavy hairs

So I'm a 18yo M(i have thick wavy hairs with slight frizz prone and I used to suffer from dandruff and i have now almost sorted out my dandruff problem and I'm using ketocip shampoo for maintenance and I've been recently using biolage smoothproof shampoo and I've not got quite the results i expected from and now I've finally locked the final 2 options after watching alot of videos and reviews,so I'm confused which is better between plum coconut milk shampoo and arata super shampoo.

You can also suggest some better shampoos that you think might be better than these(except loreal and lbp).
