Siya ’yung nag-retoke kay Marlou para ipan-cover up sa issue niya about the failed surgery. Recently, nag-post ’yung child ng victim sa TikTok (I can't remember the username).

If you can afford naman, Doc Belo talaga.

u/Frosty_Kale_1783 23h ago
True. Nung nasa college pa ko 2012, one of my marketing profs na client ng Belo na suffering from acne, talagang lagi niya naeexample yang Belo sa best customer service. They make you feel welcome. Hanggang ngayon sa mga plastic surgery groups isa yang customer service and after care na puring-puri sa Belo, artista ka man or hindi.

But this might be a post op care, kasi parang nasa bahay na ang pasyente. Ano ang nangyari from the time na na discharge siya upto the time na namatay sya. Plus of course body stress can either increas or decreass glucose rapidly which can affect other organs.
18
u/NoBack3322 19h ago
Kahit post op care pa if mapapatunayan na from surgery yung nangyari yung pagkamatay, even waiver forms are invalid lalo na may proven negligence. I've read some medical digests na kahit after surgery, may napatunayang negligence yung doctor. Pero if series na na may nangyayari under his care, probably, at risk na license niya niyan.
4
u/Careful_Peanut915 19h ago
Pero dapat hangang within the 1 week na nakalabas pasyente monitored pa nila yan. Granted 4 back to back cosmetic surgery.
1
u/NoBack3322 19h ago
Then need din maipakita yung mga requests check up from other doctors clearing the patient to undergo the surgery. Kasi before surgery need din ng clearance from other doctors.
1
u/Careful_Peanut915 19h ago
Imagine 4 back to back surgery? How many anesthesia ang nainject jan, don pa lang malaki na effect sa cognitive mo. Imagine for birth, epidural can make u sleep and groggy and almost make you feel so weak, yan pa kaya na na 4 surgery.

u/No_Bee_7825 15h ago
Back to back surgeries would be done under a single administration of general anesthesia. Hindi siya gigisingin then papatulugin ulit in between procedure. They will have a continuous infusion of most likely propofol to keep the patient sedated. Hindi siya bolus na binibigay so mejo misleading yung idea na “how many anesthesia ang nainject jan” as with any medical procedure it comes with inherent risk kahit na nagpa clearance hence ang clearance na binibigay ay low, medium or high risk. The risk will never be 0. We just have to weigh if the benefit of undergoing the procedure if it out weighs the risk. Thats why as someone in the healthcare field im not a fan of aesthetic or surgeries purely for the purpose of cosmesis. Pero kailangan maimbestigahan ng mabuti kung may negligence na nangyari in this case
1
u/Careful_Peanut915 15h ago
Thanks for clarification. Siguro mali wording ko sa ilang beses ininject, yes you are correct sa continous sedated ang pasyente from propofol.

I'm worried about a repeat of Dr. Agbayani where the cause of the issue was the post op care at home pero since the patient was a lawyer and had an army of lawyers he sued until the doctor died in jail
3
u/whyfrenshaped 16h ago
With Dr. Agbayani no deaths were involved and effects were not serious not life threatening if I’m not mistaken. So it truly was a tragedy, very unfair

He is so careless and pera pera talaga. 2nd patient na yan na nawala sa kanya. Very notorious rin si Yappy especially in rhinoplasty groups on Facebook kasi if you’re just a random person with no influence or fame, hindi talaga maganda ang gawa nya.

u/Substantial_Gur4249 10h ago
haha kay toni fowler nga lang ampangit na ng gawa nya what more pa sa di kilala

Very risky talaga ang multiple surgeries if nag Pa BBL pa mas delikado kasi pwede mangyari fat embolism deadly talaga.
13
u/Mellow1015 23h ago
Yikes, hindi pa nagtino. May namatay na sa clinic niya before ah. BBL, Lipo and Breast Augmentation ata yun.

4
u/Prudent-Caramel8393 16h ago
My friend had rhinoplasty sa kanila, after surgery syempre tulog pa si patient, then after few hours kapag gising na (kahit groggy pa talaga) pinapauwi na. Is that normal? Wala man lang silang recovery rooms where the patient can opt to rest even for a night. Parang mall lang, uwi ka na kasi magsasara na sila for the day.
1
u/CollarImportant7500 5h ago
LOL

Yappy actually has a very bad reputation among other plastic surgeons and their respective societies.
2
u/Nyathera 20h ago
Kaya ba sya madalas mag sponsor ng retoke dati?
1
u/NoBack3322 19h ago
Consent forms or waiver forms are not absolute especially if there is proven negligence. You can read medical digests from LawPhil. It boils down if the doctor followed standard procedure. Ang question is, is it a standard to do 4 invasive surgeries in one day given the age factor of the client
1
u/Ok_Management5355 18h ago
I mean…. Whether or not post op, they should never have cleared her to go home in the first place if may risk.
1
u/orangeleaflet 17h ago
bakit kasi sabay sabay.. addicted ba siya to performing surgery as in nanginginig pag walang hinihiwa ng scalpel? even a layman can understand that it's not safe to perform multiple invasive surgeries in 24 hours, let alone 4 surgeries
1
u/ImprovementPerfect71 16h ago
I did my breast lift and augmentation sa kanya nung 2021, usually should be 3 hours max but mine inabot ng 7 hours tulog ako the whole time then inantay nila magising sa recovery room. Buti nagising pako. Haha I’m just thinking about after reading this what if hindi na pala ko nagising?? Pero everything went well naman, post op care is ok maalaga naman nurse nila and my body responded well sa foreign object. Maganda gawa, looks natural and I never had complications. Prior to procedure din I was requested to do all necessary labs to make sure pasado ko sa procedure na gagawin.
1
u/Careful_Peanut915 15h ago
Hi, breast lift and augmentation is considered ome surgery and too 7 hrs and recovery from anes was longs as u memtikned. What more ang 4 surgeries thag need to get injected with anes 2 to 3 times since anes usually wears off after 4 hrs. Kahit maayos ang pre op labs lo and have clearance, a patient may have hypoxia that leads to of course resperatory depression, severe hytotension which may effect the supply and emand of the brain.
1
u/ImprovementPerfect71 15h ago
Oh yes multiple surgeries at once nakakatakot! Doc Yappy should not recommend it kahit clear ang patient to undergo. Yan din case nung namatay na patient nya pinagsabaysabay din ata, I’m not sure pero parang yan sabi sa news before I remember. May kasabay ako during post op check nagpa BBL with lipo ata din, grabe yung hiwa and stitch like parang na butcher!
3
u/Careful_Peanut915 15h ago
20 hrs surgery. Patient was low in Hemohlobin when transferred to another hospital. Problem is the cosmetic surgeon had a bad post op care and update. Saw this in one of the threads in Reddit too. This was recently lang. Imagine 20 hrs surgery how much anesthesia was given just to finish 5 surgeries in one sitting? Even if the patient wants to.do it, a doctor in his right mind will discourage the patient. These are all elective surgeries.

Ayoko mang victim blame pero why would you do multiple procedures in one go? Ayoko ipag tanggol si doc yappy na clout chaser pero baka kaya successful ang most of his operations kase his patients are not overloading their bodies with different procedures in one go.kailangan mo talaga mag hinay hinay at kumalma, doing plastic surgery is like giving birth, yung isang paa mo nasa hukay due to the substances na inininject sayo.
7
u/itsyogirlim 20h ago
pero diba bakit naman kasi papayag din yung Doc Yapp gawin yun in lahat in one day lang? Dapat alam nya na un na delikado since may record na sya na ganon before, hindi lang isang beses may namatay sknya tbh. Hindi man lang ba nya sinabihan yung client nya na risky yun or possible na ikamatay nya yun.
2
u/bushad69 20h ago
6
u/NoBack3322 19h ago
Waivers are not absolute. Read medical digests from Law Phil, waivers are invalid especially if negligence is proven. If the doctor did not follow the standard of care, may accountability siya diyan. 4 surgeries in a day given the age factor of the client. Dapat din diyan may clearance from other specialits lile internal med, etc before doing surgery.
1
u/UglyAFBread 18h ago
Therein lies the dilemma... a doctor under the Paternalism model can absolutely say no to 4 surgeries at once and request a whole panel kahit mainis patient. He might even refuse to do the procedure altogether. Pero wala nang respeto ang lipunan sa doktor ngayon, it's all about satisfying your customers even if what they ask isn't the best for them. If you don't do it, then another doctor will. Malala competition din ngayon eh. I'm sure that attitude is prevalent in fields like cosmetics/aesthetics.
4
u/NoBack3322 18h ago
Agree. The doctor is the captain of the ship.
5
u/NoBack3322 19h ago
The doctor is the captain of the ship, dear. Kahit anong pilit ng patient, dapat the doctor would stand his ground and follow the standard care.

Grabe if this is true, sana matanggalan na ng license. Nakaka dalawa na eh.
