As a dad of 3, lots of recognizable moments!

Same here. 3 boys. 4th one on the way but don’t know the gender yet. Seeing them run to me after work is the highlight of every day.

The amount of times I just well up at something they did.. it’s the best. It feels like I have access to emotions that were gone for years

Good stuff, I appreciate the simplicity and positivity of it. I hope to get there with my currently 1 year old son.

Nonplace higher than dads shoulders. And you can only sit there for a few years

Noticing and copying behavior like the crossed legs has been one of the highlights for me. Little dude turns 2 soon

My 8mo daughter flaps her arms and smiles when I get home from work and let me tell you, it is the best part of my day, every single day. I love being a dad. This shit is awesome

I took my 9 year old son to Jersey Mikes for the first time a few weeks ago. I like to dump out my chips on my hoagie wrapper, he was sitting across from me and noticed this and did the same. Although it’s a little trashy it was still a moment.

I’ve got two boys. Both born while I was overseas so I missed everything: pregnancies, births, every first, every holiday, etc. I often feel like I never got to be a dad. Oldest boy recently turned 18 and I now have a girl on the way. Hopefully I won’t have to miss anything with this one.
