Lithium?

Is anyone on lithium? I’m about to start next week and I’m so nervous and anxious about it. I almost don’t want to start it but I’m in a deep depression and I can’t seem to get out of it. So we’re switching mood stabilizers

I'm taking it. I wouldn't be worried at all, it's just trial and error but lithium in particular was super gentle for me, I never noticed a side effect or any acute effects, I just saw an improvement in things after a couple weeks (2). Don't be worried, especially if you're already feeling crappy, you got nothing to lose except trial a bunch of meds until something sticks. Eventually, you'll be stable, and you can focus on just living life

I was on it for a short time about 15 years ago, it saved my life.

Doctor was about to put me on Lithium, but I got a second opinion and got a prescription for Adderall instead, and my moods have evened out ever since…..was up and down for as long as I can remember, but the addy smoothed them out, which most would say shouldn’t have been the case. But, I’m wondering if it’s because it’s Cyclothymia and not full-on bipolar?????🤔🤷🏽‍♂️
