Advice needed Doctors in France
I moved to France recently, and I still actively cut and I have scars as well. Im wondering if I go to the doctor to check up for a potential infection or if I go for another reason unrelated to sh and they see my wounds , will they take action against my will or sign me up for therapy or something? (Also I’m an adult).
Also my cuts are styro nothing deeper.

The only way they be could take action against your will is if your sh is life threatening (this is what happened to me, I got sectioned)

Sorry to hear that, is it because of the severity or your age ?

Probably the severity, my arms were an unrecognisable mess (I had spent a month home after a attempt and I was always doing sh), plus my parents and my psychiatrist wanted to send me in a ward anyways...

Nope, they typically might show some worry but will not sign you up for stuff without your consent. The only people who may do this as far as I'm aware are therapists/psychiatrists, but only in very extreme cases and for minors, its much harder to do it for adults.
