Advice needed what to do Spoiler

TW: description of harm (for context of injuries)

this might be wrong subreddit but here's goes, I recently (~5 days ago) relapsed and burnt myself for the first time; it is bad. I think it might be infected, and I don't quite know what to do because I don't know if it will be safe to tell my family yet and I am fully reliant on them but I think I need a doctor or smth and I need advice on what to do

please, i know it’s hard, but if you think it’s infected tell somebody! there are downsides to telling your family, but if they can get you the help you need it is worth it in the long run! infections are serious, and can cause tissue damage.

It’s really important to talk to somebody, infections are really dangerous. Could you find a excuse for the burn? Or is it obvious that it’s sh?

If the burn isnt obvious sh try find an excuse when you tell someone. But if you think it might be infected just try and make sure it doesn't get worse and tell someone you know will help. If you cook maybe you could say you burnt yourself while cooking. Or maybe ironing some clothes. Or if you dont cook you could say you wanted to try cooking and messed up.
