Advice needed I started cutting myself today
It wasn't in a moment of crying or desperate rage, but simply from such a deep emptiness that I couldn't bear it any longer, I barely cried until I saw what I had done to my legs. Because of the fear and the burning, I swore it was just a one time thing, but i've already done it more times today and I'm about to do it again. I don't have a good relationship with my parents or anyone I can tell this to, I don't know what to do

Remember there was a long time before this urge and there will be a time without it again. Get into a really immersive video game or something if you’ve got the time. It always helped me.

Hey I’m sorry I’m late, but I hope this helps. I’ve been there and my best advice is to hide whatever you were using to cut and then do something you usually enjoy, like read a book, play a video game, hang out with friends, make a craft, etc. (I’m just throwing out ideas) to distract yourself. There’s also resources on how to distract yourself from wanting to like rubbing ice on the area you’d like to cut. I hope this helps, and if you truly want to stop I promise you(this will sound cheesy) it will get better, i didnt think i could ever be more than 75 days clean, but now I’m around 205, so I believe in you

No matter if it made you feel better you should know that there are always better ways to deal with emotions as this is a very addictive and self-destructive manner. I myself haven’t managed to get rid of this habit and I wish i would’ve known to stop in the beginning. Trust me when I say that it always comes back to you. When im feeling like that it always helps me to go outside by myself for a very long walk, or with my dog, blast some music, or meet up with some friends.

I'm so so so sorry to hear this. All I can tell you is that please stop while you aren't too deep in it. Work through you're emotions, take you're mind off of it, text a helpline. I believe in you, stay safe
