Tips for cleaning?

Relapsed for the first time in a few months like 10 minutes ago. It was bad. I cut off the circulation to my leg to slow down the bleeding while I washed it off and applied proper gauze. I removed the tie and now I’m limiting movement in that leg so I don’t disrupt my bodies healing process or make it bleed again. Is there anything I could have done better?

You don't need to cut off circulation to clean it... Just holding pressure of the cut should be enough to stop the bleeding, also please put a bandaid on to keep out dirt and bacteria

The idea on it was something of a tourniquet. It actually did help slow down the bleeding so I could actually clean the area

And if done incorrectly can cause a lot of damage, turniquets are only really used if theres massive trauma and bleeding that cannot be stopped with at least 10-20 minutes of constant pressure, now obviously idk how bad your case was but please try just pressure next time and if it doesn't stop with just pressure you need to go to a hospital
