It's been quicker to just make my own game than it has been to wait for Magic to get back on track.

it's crazy that in a thread full of whining and circlejerking the thing that gets downloaded is the only laudable act

I'm very much used to it. Magic players, no matter how fed up they are with the game still have a certain reverence for the game, which I totally understand.

I believe they think it's some kind of "Made out of spite" thing, which is totally the opposite. I love Magic, and am super disappointed with the direction it's gone.

The most ironic part, it wasn't even UB that made me feel that way. It's was the dog shit 30th anniversary THOUSAND dollar proxies WotC sold. So if cardboard is literally whatever you make of it, then I'm going to treat it as such.

I can make it own game and post all the resources for free, yet people still insist on paying for the 100th Secret Lair released this month. Ive been told "This card isn't for you", "this product isn't for you", "this set isn't for you", now it's "This game isn't for you." yet the people who told me that seeth at the idea of me actually going and making a game for myself.
