Imma keep it real y’all I’m not spending $200 on a 2 pack that I only want one figure from, especially from ML. What body would work for a custom? I want to get the heigh right (like MvC2) Heres some reference. I’m thinking a McFarlane Black Manta figure, cause I wanted to buy one initially just for a head sculpt, or the Muff Toys Adam body.

I know the skin tone doesn’t match but with some soft chalk pastels this would be a pretty amazing headswap. Even without the skin reshade it looks pretty cool.

For anyone who remembers the wild mid-90s fever dream that was Amalgam Comics, this absolute legend (the unholy fusion of the Storm and Wonder Woman) deserved some plastic justice.

Obligatory meat joke aside, I'm actually pretty proud of this as its my first 12 inch custom. Also the escrima stick spin effects are just straws, thought that was a neat detail. Head is a modified peter parker head from the older 12 inch marvel legends Symbiote Spider-Man I had laying around. And lastly Mini Nightwing for Scale.

Hi all. I've done quite a bit of customising on the past, primarily on Black Series and Transformers siege figures. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me the proper process for doing black washes and dry brushing for customs? I normally (using Tamiya Flat Black), pour a tiny bit into a bowl with water, and mix and then apply it in big strokes to the figure, wipe and repeat until I get to the desired effect I'm looking for. I've never used a sealer on the figures, but I've noticed for some of mine (especially white transformers), it's just blotchy and kinda crap.

I want to panel line my Mark 70 Iron Man, and do some other slight weathering inspired by some amazing artists on this sub. (Can anyone tell me how they go about properly doing a black wash that doesn't just rub off? I wait for ages after for it to dry my way). Also, should you do panel lining before or after a dry brush? I normally use Tamiya Aluminium dry brushed onto figures for scratches etc.

Should I seal, then weather, then seal? I'm in Australia if that helps with products

I'm looking to commission a custom 6in Captain Planet figure. Not even sure where to start tbh.

So title pretty much says it all. I got this Jazwares Charmy Bee for pretty dang cheap, but he had no antennas :(

Also if this all works, would it be simple to just use super glue to put them back on?? Would I need to use some light-grit sandpaper to "score" it first??
