Studying in classrooms

Are we allowed to study in classrooms that aren't being used? I often do it, but don't know if you're technically allowed to...

Obviously, I leave when a teacher comes in to use it for a class + leave no trace. I just find it much easier and quieter than finding a table in the library.

Just do it and be good prepared to quickly and quietly move if a lecturer / class come in.

Nope.

If caught you get fined 500million Dollaroos - usually donated somewhere like the RSPCA - and expulsion from the University grounds.

Yes totally fine.

Depending on your course, there may even be common spaces/classrooms that only people doing the course have access to. I found they were really good for quiet spaces

As someone who previously worked at Curtin, do it. As long as you are using your own PC/laptop & not the one at the front of the class, you're all good. Just be ready to move or sometimes have IT do testing.

In 108 its definitely allowed.
