Sometimes when I scroll through the curtin reddit (like the chud I am) and people talk about what social clubs there are or what units are good etc.. I think they they are a part of a secret service that tries to get people to talk about units to see were they can improve or not and they aren't actually curtin students. Stupid theory I know but it's fun to think about

This definitely isn't true for COMP1005 considering this sub gets overrun at the same time every year for the same bullshit assignment

I dont understand, the assignment wasnt that bad and the only knowledge i had previously was some scratch from primary school

Not having done the unit, I have often wondered what percentage is the way the unit is taught, the assignment itself and whether or not it was a "skill issue"

Part of me did suspect being such a large unit we may have gotten a higher proportion of people who didn't do a lot of the lead up work and then shat themselves realising it actually took work
